The removal of the smaller crane on the 16th February 2009 was cancelled as a result of inclement weather.  The builders will reschedule this operation for a later date and will notify nearby residents and businesses by mail of the proposed date.

Meanwhile, work is steadily progressing with the structure of the south building complete and the north building nearing completion.  Installation of flooring, internal partitions and services continues.   The footings for the Big Dig Archaeology Education Centre are complete and the installation of the structural steel for this building will commence in the near future.
